Ground Transport and Car Parking
(Santiago de Compostela, Spain)
As the airport is a mere 10 km / 6 miles from Santiago de Compostela, there are many public transportation options which provide quick and easy access to the city. Four different buses provide service to and from the airport. One bus runs to Lugo throughout the day from 07:00 until 19:30. Two other buses go from the airport to two locations in Santiago, the bus station and General Pardinas, departing from the terminal every 30-40 minutes.
The bus station is located about 15 minutes' walk from the Old Town. A fourth bus provides service to La Coruna and leaves one time a day at 11:30.The airport information desk can provide current timetables for all bus routes. Taxi service to central Santiago and nearby locations is also available outside the terminal building. If your hotel is located in the Old Town, the taxi can take you directly to the door, as only taxis have driving access within the Old Town.
